In this episode of The Father’s Journey I talk about Hands of Stone, the movie based on Roberto Duran’s life, and the parallel heroic journey that boxers and fathers make. I also tell the tragic story of my father’s life and untimely death and how boxing could’ve saved him from the streets, but in the end didn’t. Finally, I touch on my life growing up without a father and how it lead me down a path of addiction and trouble, until I discovered kickboxing.
